So I might be putting this in the wrong. My apologies and my hope is that it gets moved to the right place. I recently purchased used remotes from Ebay. They sent instructions that were unfortunately a little incorrect. With this site I found enough info to piece it all together.
1. Found the 2 pin connector behind the left rear panel. Mine has a black housing.
2. Bent a paper clip into a jumper tool.
3. Turned ignition to the run position without starting the truck.
4. Went to the back of the truck. My connector was taped down so I released it in order to access it easier.
5. Jumped the connector quickly until the locks locked and unlocked.
6. Pushed a button on each remote (up to four).
7. The locks cycled each time I pressed a button on each remote.
8. Shut the key off and tested each remotes locking and unlocking capabilities.
My truck is a 1994 Explorer Limited. My remotes numbers are 3165189 and FCC ID GQ43VT4T. Hope this helps all with the 94 Key Fob Programming.
