haven't ever seen off the shelf projector light for the trac. Should be able to get them custom made.

you know what company i might be able to look at to see if i can get them custom made?

there was a post on here some where not long ago about hids and how you could get a discount on them also

ebay has a kit, along with the headlights you were speaking of.... the problem is. is it the real deal????

i just ordered an hid kit for both the headlights and fog lights.

vvme is where mine came from and yes, they are real. paid 150 for fogs and bi-xenon headlights

Stitch I'm about 15 miles from u in the north end of St marys

old post, i know....but if anyone is looking for projector kits, try http://www.theretrofitsource.com i have heard nothing but good things about the morimoto mini h1's. i was even able to find the retrofit source selling items on ebay (they take offers too, i got mine for a steal) as soon as i get home from deployment, ill try and post a detailed diy and pics.

I got the hi-low HID kit from DDM Tuning and have not had a problem with them on or off-road. Love them and would buy them again.

:thumbdwn: im sure its been mentioned a million times before, but throwing a hid kit into unmodified stock housing isnt the best idea. You may risk getting tickets and it's annoying and dangerous to oncoming traffic. im doing mine the correct way and fitting projector lenses into my headlight housings. it will focus the light instead of scattering it. i wont lie though, i used to run with the same set up

Im couldnt live without high beams... so for now im getting the best halogens I can, then when summer rolls around and im not throwing ridiculous amounts of money into college I can try to retro fit some projectors

The openings for the 9007 bulbs were the right size for the threaded portion of the Mini's, but you will need to trim off the rear mounting flange that the lock ring connects to. The threaded mounting on the Mini H1's isnt long enough to clear the whole housing and still install the bulb. Basically its not just a bolt on, needs some modifications still.
