I'm offering reduced pricing for NEX members on my projector headlight assemblies, clear corners, full HID kit (bulbs, ballasts and plug & play wiring harness), and clear tail light assemblies.

Asking $450 for non members in the classifieds section. Will give to NEX members for $375

** Left tail light gets condensation but if sealed properly should be fine**

got rid of the projectors, and tail lights.

I have black assemblies with matching corners up front, and euro black & red tails. Made a HUGE difference in the appearance of my truck. I went with a 6,000k HID kit for the black assemblies instead of the 8,000k kit I had before

I'm considering doing a projector project in my black assemblies now just for the fun of it. I kinda miss the cut off line I had with the projectors....

i would like a pair but not for that price no way i could afford to pay that. but if you would be nice enough to say how you made them for the people that are interested in making them that would be much appreciated. i am sure some one with more money than me and that isnt interested in making their own or cant would buy them no problem

if I get around to doing another set of projectors in my black assemblies I'll take pics and do a "write up" on them. Its more of a patience kind of project than just tossing it all in together and hoping for the best. The right tools and time to work in peace will give the best results. I don't think the set in the pics was done as well as they could have been. Had I known some of the things I know now they would have looked way better. I would have bought some of the headlight adhesive strip from a Nissan dealership instead of using silicone. The adhesive strip is black and can be heated up to make it sticky. You then pack a bead of it into the groove in the headlight assembly where the lens connects and when it cools down the lens is sealed to the headlight and won't be coming off anytime soon. Its the same stuff that causes you to have to "oven heat" the headlight assembly to get the lens off in the first place

I would have used covers around the sides of the projectors to keep all the light coming out of the projector itself rather than let some escape out the sides. It also would have made the inside of the lens look cleaner and more professional.

Those would definitely be things I'd address the second time around with the black assemblies to enhance their appearance and the light output

thanks much appreciated. i am sure that write up will make it in the top postings for sure. since no manufacture has wanted to step up to the place and make a mass production model yet. but they make one for the ranger. why not the ever so popular explorer? i dont get it but whatever.

yeah I had hoped that at somepoint some company would make a projector headlight set for the explorer. Especially considering they make them for every model of Honda Civic and Accord known to man. The expedition has sets available and the Ranger too like you pointed out. How do you skip out on the most sold SUV in the world?

I'll take new pics of my explorer this spring (after I get my turbo and Ford Racing engine installed) I'm looking to get around 400-450WHP by summer with a dual exhaust that exits from the center of the truck in the rear (just below the bumper step area).
