I just purchased an Explorer for a smokin' deal. It is a Black 4 door with Black interior. It has 105000 miles, and I could tell that it had been in a wreck before, as it was obvious that the top fender bolts had been removed and retorqued. However, all the tires have even wear, and it drives in a straight line with no alignment problems. I bought it anyway. The engine and all underneath was dusty, which meant there was no possibility of any leaks that were recently hidden by washing. Really surprised at how peppy the engine feels. The transmission shifts very smooth, so far, without any hiccups.
