When you said that you have no flow, how did you determine this? Did you disconnect the transmission cooler line or did you connect a 0 - 300 PSI gauge to the rear pressure test port?
The upper line is the return line. The pressure line is on the bottom. Either the cooler is blocked or you have a bad pump. Check the links in # 52 in my list of useful threads for more information.
I think that you should connect a pressure gauge to the rear port to get a more accurate diagnosis. Check the links in # 10 in my list of useful threads for more information.
Ok I can do that but lets assume that there is little or no pressure what then. This is the second trans ive put in and both with the same results the pump cant be bad on both of them what are the odds of that
Unfortunately, most shops don't troubleshoot what a possible problem might be. They usually push for another rebuild. It's like throwing parts at a problem instead of determining what the exact problem is.
well i know there isint any flow in the trans because when i filled it then started it ran it then checked the fluid the fluid level didnt change like the fluid is just sitting in the pan not circulating through the transmission
