push button on 90 xlt 4x4 not working

I just picked up a 1990 ranger xlt 4x4 but the push button 4x4 system does nothing. Wondering where to start?

Welcome to the site... You'll find lots of info you just got to get acquanted with the search button. Your problem is very common and asked almost every day by new members... check the connector at the control module which should be behind the drivers rear seat. I have seen this several time. Hope this helps
