Putting in a switch for all power off/on

I just wanted a way to quickly kill all power if I needed to for any reason. Fire, theft, police action, car jacking, acts of god etc As I said it was sparked by seeing my friends boat kill switch.

So an easy access kill switch. Maybe in the door area or armrest area. something you can turn in case of emergency. If its easy to access it will also be easy to activate by accident. In case of a carjacking your not gonna have time to turn that key. You can get emergency kill circuits (forgot proper name). They wire it into your window buttons. You can pull or push in combination as your open door to get out and truck will die shortly after. Great for carjacking situation.

How about a kill pushbutton switch in the lower foot well area. set it up so you have to reach a bit for activation, so normal foot movements wouldn't hit it. I think that might be Ok for panic situation or daily use.

The old cars had a floor mounted switch for the brights.

Yeah my Ford Econo. had it.

Now all this talk about kill switch has me thinking of it...lol
