OK, here is the question.
Will the Explorer Factory radio work in a 01 Windstar?
I have a brand new factory dual mode radio in the closet and it has the RDS mode so I can see the name of the song and who wrote it and stuff like that. I just bought my wife an 01 Ford Windstar. It also uses the dual mode radios. But, it does something that I don't know if the other radio does, it allows people in the rear to listen to something different from the people in the front. In other words, I can listen to my favorite radio station while my daughter in the rear can either watch a movie or listen to a CD playing in the same head unit, with the help of a set of head phones. The only thing about the Windstar unit is it does not display the RDS mode.
If you don't know, don't worry about it. I just needed to know so I don't have to go through the hassles of changing them out and finding out the hard way. Anyone know for sure one way or the other?
