If the 96 Ranger is 4x4 like your X the front should work. The Ranger is spring over in the rear and your X is spring under so most likely there will be problems with the rear.

as already said the front should work, shackles and an add a leaf in the rear should do it.

or go spring over.

Spring over is the way to go for the rear!! Front should bolt right up.. just make sure you have ALL the peices.
