I have a 98 Eddie Bauer X. I need to go up in amps from my alternator. After doing allot of searching and reading it seems to me that I can solve this problem with getd ting a factory alternator from a Limited Edition. Is it true that the alternator from the Limited is stronger than 1 from my Eddie Bauer? I beleive I read that it puts out 130 amps and mine is only putting out about 105? Or I could get one from Mr.Alternator.com but I see allot of problems with them dimming at adle. Some have even had to change out the pulley to eliminate this problem. Anyone running a 200 amp alternator from Mr.Alternator that want to discuss this and is your problem solved?
