Question about Ford changers...

Need help

I have a radio in my 1998 Explorer with number F87F-18C868-CD. Can any one tell me if the
1C3F-18C815-AB will work. Direct reference to the two plugs. I am not worried about the method of mounting as I can modify the mounting.

Also can you give me a little explanation on this thing of weather there is a sub woofer or not.

Thanks.

stereo wiring problems

I've been sitting in front of this computer since 5 am yesterday looking for a color code that matches the wires in my dash for a 2003 explorer sport trac with an altec 3L2T-18C868-BC radio. I have found many, but not one that matches. I am so frustrated. I need help. There are too many conflicts with the current information. I want to be sure that I install this new one properly.....dont want to zap it or the truck......HELP IF YOU CAN
