Question About Grille Trim

i have a question for you explorer owners..... the trim that goes around your grille and is painted the same main color of the explorer.... is that part of the header panel or is it it's own seperate piece? i ordered a billet grille from explorer express for my '03 mountaineer and either they sent me the wrong one or the site is a bit misleading as to what they sell. the grille i got doesn't fill the gap for me as my grille needs to cover headlight to headlight. if anyone could let me know what their explorer has let me know. also... anyone ever seen a billet grille for a mountaineer? thanx.

I work at a automotive accessories store and I've never heard of a billet grill for a MM.

they do not carry a grille for an '03 mountaineer..... only grille guards

While we are on the subject, does any one know if there is an available stick-on chrome cover for that area? It seems to take quite a bit of stone chip abuse and I was wondering if it could be covered.
