I'm thinkin your talkin about the radius arm mounts, right???

opps...i meant tha center hinge pivot brackets, but i decieded to just buy sum ones for a ranger and for a 8 inch lift. i have everything else for a 8 inch lift off my old bronco

If you see a rivet it probably has to come off? :) Those are not fun.

yea i was hopin u wouldn't say that
i was lookin at it today n its n tha worst place to git to
how did u take yours off?

What part are you really talking about? Where the Radius Arms attach to the frame? Where the TTB connects to the frame? I took mine off with a dremel and an airpunch.

wher the center pivot point brackets connect to the crossmember.

ok yea those come off

i just found skyjacker hinges for a 8inch lift froma place n utah 340 for a set that ain't that bad really

8" drop brackets with a 5.5 lift coil wont work.
Cut the head off the rivets with a grinder, then punch them through. As long as the truck is supported by the frame they take about 5 minutes each.
replace with grade 8 hardware.
Be careful mixing and matching TTB lift components, it may not align or it may have horendous bump steer.

the springs have are from a 79 with a 2inch lift i measured them at 19.5 inches long while free, i found out that skyjacker 8 inch ranger coils measure in at around 22 inches but when fitted squat down to bout 17.5 inches and that's when fitted on a truck wit a 2.9 or 4.0 so the lbs per inch ratio is around 450, these springs are way thicker and came from a truck with a 400M so that ratio would be higher then in theory.i can't really see a 4.0 pushin those springs down real far they r a quarter inch thicker.
