I'm coming over from the 3rd gen forum because I want to do something really difficult, stupid, and financially irresponsible. I wanna put power running boards on my 2005 Explorer. As you know they didn't exist at this time, but that ain't gonna stop me. I need details on how these things operate, more specifically the module thingy I have a picture of attached below. Found it on eBay and I don't know where on the 4th gen trucks it's located, or how it works with the main computer. I figure I'll need this to be the brains for my insane 3rd gen swap. I'm also planning on getting boards and motors used, because I'm not totally nuts. If you have info on this please by all means share it!
