1994 XLT,
I am looking to possibly get a pair for my 95 XLT. I am wondering if any thing is modified under the hood. on the inner fenders?

Tim

inner fenders usually get removed or chopped up
With all this snow and slush in CO though its a good idea to make some new liners to protect your engine bay and door pockets from all that crud

I made some out a big sheet of ABS plastic, total cost was about $30

They are not mounted currently because I need to remove my fenders to finish the job, I plan to fiberglass in a mounting tab about every 6" so they dont flap in the wind, I tried epoxy and it wouldnt work haha I need to be able to remove them quickly so I want to do it right

You may have to re-route some wires and protect your air filter, I made a couple of simple shields to protect my lights and air filter until I finish the full liners. Any exposed wires you will want to wrap with plastic conduit, etc

Its nice having custom liners because I am able to allow alot of heat out of the engine bay (headers)
With the fiberglass fenders the new wheel opening is huge, so factory fender liners look like as* :)
