question- manual transmission

question- Did the explorer ever come with a manual transmission in the two wheel drive model. if did, what year. I really hate my automatic.

i have a 93 manual 2wd

it did, and does...all years 91-present; although they may have changed the version of the tranny with the SOHC engine in the mid-late 90s

if u have the 4.0 OHV, i think u need the M5R1 trans...try ebay.
