Question on wiring

The wiring diagram that came with the auxiliary lights I bought at Pep Boys today did not show a relay. In what application would a relay be necessary and where in the wire diagram would it go?

I also plan on getting 2 more 6" 55w lights and the question above still applies.

There are many good reasons to use a relay in ALL aux. lighiting applications. Safety is the first and brightness of the lights IMO is the best reason.
Without a relay you have loss of amps which dims your lights.
