I'm upgrading to a Power Acoustik STAX 2000.1 amp for the sub, and adding a Kenwood KAC-8404 for the speakers, my question is, for my sub. I am wanting to go with a 15", though I'm not sure of what, right now I'm looking towards an RE Audio SX series sub. not wanting to spend much more than 215, if anyones got recommendations, it would be appreciated

Wasn't wanting to really spend more than 175, and I've never had an issue with Power Acoustik, any reason to avoid that amp?

It looks like you want to stay under 400 for an amp and sub.

Get the d2 sub and it will get 870 watts. The SA 12 can take it. Put that in a well built ported box and it will slam and sound great at the same time. I realize it's also slightly over your budget but you will be much happier in the long run.
