1. I want to bypass the timer and wire my lights to be solely controlled by the switch. Is this possible?

2. Dash lights do not work at all. on the console only half of the buttons light up and the AC panel mostly lights up.

3. Heater doesn't blow hot even with the climate control set to 90F. Could this be a blend door somewhere?

1- just unplug the connector on the rear view mirror.

2- you have some 194 and m4 bulbs burned out.

3- If both heater core hoses entering the firewall are hot, the heater core is not clogged.
Check the level of coolant in the radiator ( not overflow) ,as a low radiator level will result in no heat. check that the coolant bypass valve in the heater hose is opening and closing. Note the position of the lever with heater on and floor selected. Then turn on the ac to max, check that the coolant bypass lever has moved.

If this checks out the blend door might be broken.

Manual or electric Heater control?

can you hear the heater fan running ??

the fan is under the hood at the back on the passenger side,, near the top ,,

if you don't hear the fan at all it may have a bad motor ,,,
