I posted this in another thread, but thought I'd go ahead and start a thread...
My 96 EB V6 just turned over 165000. Just bought it about 3 months ago at 160k. Seems to have been maintained VERY well. Only problems I can Identify so far are:
1) Probably need ball joints.
2) parking brake does nothing (irritates the wfe)
3) Power Steering is noisy
4) Seems to downshift a lot on the highway in cruise! 2 average size adults and 2 kids.
I'm new to X's so I don't know how normal some of this stuff is, or how hard it is to fix. I have purchased a Haynes, but WOW there's a lot of stuff under there! My other car is an MG, which I know inside out. These new vehicles, Geesh!
Also, I'm unsure about the actual mileage on the vehicle. Console computer will click off 1/10's of a mile while sitting still. Analog speedo seems accurate, not real sure about the ODO.
