I have a 4" lift currently on the X. The rear sags about 1.5"-2". If I go to SOA in the rear, and add 2" coil spacers up front will i sit alright? And if i go 2" higher up front, will i for sure need extended arms?

the soa is about a 4 or 5 inch lift anyways isnt it so i wouldnt bother messing with anything but your leaf springs to fix that sag personally...it just seems risky to me to hope for the right suspension geometries or whatever based on saggy springs...cause i figure that your suspension travel in the rear is gonna be a certain way whether the leafs sag or not and then the 2 in coil spacers may bake the trucks overall feel a little odd when they are giving the wrong amount of lift when the suspension is flexing...if you can make out what im trying to say...

thanks, i just didnt know how much the SOA lifted. How bout this, taking out an add-a-leaf or 2, there are 2 in each side and doin the SOA with the 2"spacers up front. (that would 6" upfront, im about 2.25" higher over stock in the rear.) The rear feels good in the corners, but rides smooth enough, i dont offroad alot, so insane flex isnt a concern.
Also to be able to lift it 2 more inches would eliminate rubbing.

...yeh i guess in theory that would work...i mean, i dont know nearly as much about what sag does than some on this site...I just dont know if you can really do the SOA with another lift with drop brackets up front Im assuming. To tell you the truth I would personally start fresh, do the SOA in back mabye with a block to account for sag and match that up with whatever Superlift etc offer for that SOA mod because i think its 5.5 in but i cant really remember...so i guess theoretically adding a 2 in coil over to what you have in front already would mate up with and SOA in the rear with a small block or mabye 1 add leaf...the whole sag thing is throwing you off...mabye you should just get new spring packs...but ask around because there are plenty of guys who know more about rigging a suspension like that..

I have a 94 explorer with a 4" skyjacker lift. And just did a SOA and it sits about 2 1/2" higher in the rear than in the front. Trying to figure it out too. But i'm thinking about getting 6" superlift springs up front and hopefully that will even it out.
