Quick hub question...

When I installed the M/M hubs there were very thin gasket/shim things seperating teh auto-hub frm teh wheel bearing. There was no mention of this in the instructions, so I assumed they weren't needed. Was I correct in assuming this?

I didn't put them back in either, and I haven't had any troubles.

Toss 'em! They are part of the autohub system, not the axle/bearing assembly. The instructions I got with my Warn's also said to remove them.

That's what I thought - but I wasn't sure. I wanted to make sure they weren't intended to hold grease in the bearing or something...
