Ok, I've got the lifted shocks and warrior shackles. However, that odd third shock is shot so I'm not really getting any lift at all. Should I replace it with a factory one or is there someone who makes something I can use instead?

Thanks,
Eric

That vibration dampening shock shouldn't have any effect on your lift. If you know it's shot, remove it. I doubt you'll notice a difference. If you want to replace it, I think OE is your only option.

Are you talking about a steering stabilizer?

No, it seems to be for axle twist and alignment or something. Ford calls it a suspension support assist shock or something similar.

Wow, well than I am completely in the dark there.

I keep hearing about them, but never have seen one. Anyone got pics?

It is just a vibration dampner shock. You can pull it out and throw it away if you want, you will probably NEVER know the difference.

I am sure you could get an aftermarket replacement if you really wanted one though. Just getting compressed/extended measurements could probably match up to something. Actually, is it a Motorcraft shock? If so, you can enter the part # at http://www.motorcraft.com/ and it will give you aftermarket part numbers.
