I'm using IMGUR to upload pictures but they aren't showing up. Why?

Use photobucket, it's a little more forum friendly

Do I just "upload" and use the url? and when I upload do I delete the first http that pops up? I tried photobucket with bad results as well

I use photobucket, you just copy and paste the img string.
