Does anyone know what the TSB #01197 referenced and what the actual fix was?

I can only find what the TSB referenced but not the actual cause or fix

Thanks!

BTW, this ties into the question I had a little while back. I'm still getting the intermittent rattle/knock at idle and I can feel a vibration when accelerating inside the cab, but you cant hear a "knock" on the outside of the truck. Im hoping this is just a collapsed lifter, as the engine has been maintained well, and has now a little over 273k miles on it.

i'm not sure whast it is, but try some seafoam...its good stuff, put a can of it in with the oil a day or two before u change the oil, it'll clean everything and might help out that lifter problem

Thanks for the reply. After reading more yesterday, I came across something saying that running premium in a 1st gen ist good. So Im going to refill it with regular and run some seafoam through it.

Thanks again
