How do you determine if you need new wires. Looks mine have been change out before, but i want to drop new plugs in this weekend. What should I look for to determine if i should get a new set of wires too.

Thanks

Look for damage, cracks, bare wires spots, messed up or missing boots. It's also good to go at night when it's dark and watch the wires with the engine running and no lights on to see if you can see the wires arcing at all. This is a good way to tell how they are.

If you see any of these things, it would be good to replace them. Just make sure if you do to get quality wires and to save the old ones. They may prove useful if something happens and you need one fast.

In addition to what devilboy222 suggests, you can also measure the resistance of the wires. I can't remember for sure what the spec is, but I think anything less than ~7000 ohms/foot is good.
