I found a bad radiator leak on the passenger side between the plastic tank and metal part of the radiator. Thanks to a thread I found on here I managed to get the radiator out which proved to be the most difficult radiator removal I've had so far.
Unfortunately I found the plastic fan is also cracked in multiple places, 2-3 of them are cracked clear through the fan. I am about to put a new radiator on which is almost $200 and I don't want to chance the plastic fan.
I read through the sticky thread on the plastic fan. What all years and models can I find the metal fan on that will fit my 99 Mountaineer? The only plastic fan I found locally was at a local auto parts store for $74 and it only has a 1 year warranty. That doesn't seem like the best route given the possibility of the new fan cracking also.
I want to put the new metal fan on but need to make sure which vehicles I can find this fan on.
