Radiator Replacement - 5.0 V8

The radiator on my 1998 5.0 EB started leaking at the junction between the core and the tank on the passenger side. Got a NAPA replacement and installed it over the weekend. It took a solid 8 hours in the South Carolina sun to change. Fan clutch (Autozone tool loan) no problem. Shroud, no problem. Trans lines, hoses, bolts, no problem. Condenser from radiator, thought I would lose my mind. And this was after searching the threads and knowing how it was supposed to come apart. Had some trouble sealing the adaptors to the tank for the AT lines. Be sure to work on those before putting the new tank in. All is OK now, but never want to do this again.

I hope you repalced the water pump while you were at it. Cheap insurance and a lot easier with the radiator out.
