I have the VIN for my 2001 Explorer: 1FMDU74E71ZA65022; Does anyone have the resource to tell me the part/model # for the radio mdule? Thanks, Ned

I do not. But are you looking for the stock radio for a replacement? I have one you could probably have as i have an aftermarket radio and will most likely not go back.

lok in ur handbook. otherwise lok on the net, ford.com it is a pain in the exhaust system: cuz dey wont tel u all that u ned 2 noe. it is out there.

pbnj22 - That's a very nice offer! My concern is the number of part numbers there are for this unit. I've looked online for one and some of the sites warn that just because it looks like my model doesn't mean it will work.
I assume it will fit the space since it has DIN dimensions. The catch would probably be in the plugs/connectors.
What do you think? What would you want for the unit? Ned
