radio question

ok i have a 95 explorer xlt with the radio and heat controls for the back seat i tryed to put in a after market cd player and i got the plugs from walmart when i hooked it up it powered up but no sound i tryed to hook up diff ways no sound at all

It has an amplifier built into the vehicle. Use the ignition wire to the BLUE wire on the truck side of the radio plug. This should power up your amp. And thusly give you sound. If you want, I can get you the right connector for it, or you can just connect the blue from the radio directly to the blue on the harness truck side. It will work, and not look to bad

ok i will have to try i will have get another one because i got mad and just took the cd player and the plugs back to walmart
