Radio Question

Hi guys , got a 96 explorer and i have a cd changer on it , its in the center console which is odd but i didnt know that its actually a factory unit and its a 6 disc changer

Well the owner before me somehow lost the cd magazine and im wonder is do i have to get a ford factory magazine or would like a pioneer or something else work

I think the changer is manufactured by JBL. I replaced mine a while ago because it had something broken inside. I don't remember for sure but I would think it would have to be the same product so it works right. I love mine especially when I'm on the highway. Good luck finding one. Maybe there will be one in the parts thread from Joe Dirt.
