first how is the best way to remove the radio on my 2003 edie bauer explorer, second is there anything I should know or be careful with about installing a line converter to hook up an amp and subs to my stock 6 cd changer radio. 3rd what would be the best way to hook up an ipod to the stock radio (what is the cheapest way besides a fm transmitter)

This should be asked in Explorer Audio & Navigation.... http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=9

But, here's your answer and it is really simple:

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit.

2. Unclip and remove entire panel surrounding radio including climate controls and vents.

3. Remove (2) 9/32” screws securing radio.

Mounting kit is part 95-5026 from Metra.
