Radio Trim Removal

2003 X, how do you remove the trim panel around the Stereo & AC controls??

I figured it just popped off but after getting a tool under it in a few different areas it seems like it does not want to budge. I am affraid of pulling on it too hard as I do not want to break the pannel.

So does it just pop off or is there something I am missing??

it does pop off but it is tough. i went and bought some of those plastic tools for removing interior parts so it wouldnt mark up the dash. just dont pull from the center, thats the weak area.

thanks, thats what I thought but I figured better safe than sorry. I usually start at the corners but man that thing was in there tight. I guess I will try again and just take it slow with my fingers crossed.

yes, start at the top corners and work your way down either side

they are tight but then they snap back in nicely as well
