Does anybody know if the radius arm Brackets off a 83-88 first gen Ranger will fit a 1991 Explorer? The Explorer I bought the bushings took a crap and the previous owner never changed them and they messes up the brackets.

I have a parts Ranger I could get them off. Rockauto.com says the brackets off a Explorer will fit the Ranger so it should be vice versa correct?

Only difference I could see looking at both of them is the Ranger brackets are flat straight across where they bolt together in the center and the Explorer have a hump in them kind of.

I'd cross reference that with Ford. Call them up and ask them to look up the part numbers for a X and that Ranger. How much do new brackets cost?

the frames are slightly different. it should work but alot of stuff that fits both trucks isnt 100% on one of em

Thanks for the update.. Its good to know about another vehicle to pull those brackets from.
