I removed my radius arm brackets. You may have to grind off the rivets that hold them on. Since yours is newer, you may not have rivets. It will take about an hour or so depending on your skill level. If you dont replace them you could end up with a broaken bracket. They were 34 dallors a piece at ford. Hope this helps.
If you don't want to grind off your rivets, you can also do it by removing the axle arms, but it's a lot more involved. (I ground the rivets off on my old '92) Just remember to use at least grade 5 bolts and locknuts when you put it back together.
