Hey i have a 93 ex sport with a 3in suspention lift kit,
i went down to have my truck alined and the guy said my radius arm is flexed instead of being at the level position. he said i need a radius kit that drops it down level and new radius arm bushing, i found the bushing's but i can't seem to get ahold of a the kit does anyone know where i can get one???!?! also to save my shocks can i make a spacer that extends the arm on the shock?

I have a pair of drop brackets for the stock radius arms. I don't need them anymore because now I use extended radius arms. Send me an email with your shipping address and we can figure it out from there if you are interested.

My email is mlchorney@yahoo.com why did u extend your radius arm, did u get another mod? or should i do that?

You get extended radius arms to help with flex and to help minimize the arch of your wheel during max articlulation. hope this helps.

There are still many people that run the stock arms and drop brackets on this site and most of them have little to no complaints

I'm assuming he is talking about your caster being off.

Caster does not affect tire wear.

You can get a set of Caster Adjuster Radius Arm bushings that are made by Moog. They have up to 1 degree of adjustment.

What is normally bad about caster is if the caster is different between wheels.. If the caster isn't the same between the two wheels, then your vehicle will pull to the side with the least caster.

Also, I've seen in 4 wheeler mag that a few places sell a drop bracket kit (2" I think).. If I remember correctly it was a rough country kit. That is another way to do it..

BUT, as long as you get the caster split right (how much difference you have in caster between the two sides) I wouldn't worry about the caster too much... Its the camber and toe you really need to worry about.

Just a heads up, the rough country bracket is a set of axle drop brackets for camber, he needs radius arm ones for caster. Running 3" of lift with no radius arm drop brackets will give you about 0 caster, which will have harmful effects on the vehicles handling.

If it actually takes you to 0, then the Moog adjustables will take you to 1...

But I've seen people run lots of caster, and other run very little caster.. Both seem to be fine.. (haven't heard of any specific complaints)

Heck, last I checked I had almost 7 degrees of caster on mine..

btw.. i looked at the add I had cut out, and yup the kit is just for camber.. not caster..

I'm not sure exactly how bad the caster would be, it may actually go negative. I've always heard that 2" is about the max before both radius arm and axle pivot brackets. Even with bushings I would venture to say down travel is going to be limited, and up travel is already limited with the TTB. If it were me I'd buy NOTJPs brackets, get it alligned and be done with it.

where would i buy NOTJPs brackets, and ya everytime i hit a bump on the roads my front goes clunck clunck

Haha, see the second post on this thread. NOTAJP said he had some he'd sell you. ;)

I want to take a good look over them to make sure there are no cracks. I would never want to sell anybody anything that is faulty or unsafe. They are superlift and from the first generation. They have never had a problem bout I want to make sure.

yes laugh at me, ok so NOTAJP tell me what you want and when you can get them to me that would be great
