Rain Guards

Im looking to get rain guards for my 06 exp. Which kind do you guys recommend? The ones that go in the window channel or the ones that go on with double sided tape? I like the look of the ones that go in the window channel, but when i had them on my 01 exp sport i noticed on the passenger window that it was scratching the top corner of the window. Was that just an install error or did anyone else have that problem? Also whats the best place to order these online?

I have (and have on my Focus and my previous Escape) the outside tape mounts, and have no issues with them and they allow better access when cleaning for sure.

I hav the in channel ones on my Eddie. I ordered them from weathertech. Only took a couple minutes to install. I have not had any problems with them so far. I have the tape ones on my Lincoln LS and lost one rolling down the highway pretty soon after installing them. Was in the summer too.

I actually ended up ordering the inchannel ones from weathertech a couple weeks ago. I just sent them back last week. Whenever I would roll up the windows they would make a scratching noise and a couple of my windows started getting small scratches at the top of them. Im just going to order the ones that tape on the outside.

if they're scratching your windows, you didn't install them right. I used to have AutoVentShade ones on my truck and they worked perfectly and looked a hell of a lot better than the stick on ones.
