do an soa and a 4" up front ;) that will get rid of the hanging up problem after you stuff some 33s under it :0

seriously, there is a company that makes skidplates for them, do a search on here...

i did a search and found the info on the skid plates...but i dont understand how putting those on will give me more clearance? dont they just mount on and protect everything?im looking to raise the whole thing up if i can

The shock mount skid plates move the shocks up some and protect them, but if you really want to move the shocks up a LOT you can remove the rear swaybar and use the swaybar mounting points for the shocks.

whats involved with mounting them to the sway bar mount points? welding and such id assume? anyone have a walk through for this or any suggestions how to go about this? or anyone that has done it? :) sorry for all the questions its just something id like to take on and do :D

Contact Lizardtrac. He has it done on his truck

if you want to remove the rear swaybar.... you use the top hole where you remove the bolts on each side of the axel..... you have to find longer bolts that would be about as long as the base mounting point of your shock and enough to thread into the hole.... get 2 washers pu them onto the bolt turn the base mounting point of the shock ( the bottom ) on its side.... so the hole is facing the rear of the truck... put the bolt through and thread it into the top hole on each side of the pumpkin that you took the sway bar out of.... then torch or cut off your old shock mounting points... and there you go.... more ground clearance.
