- 2002 ranger 5.0 swap
Hi everyone! I recently swapped a 1996 expo 5.0 into my 2002 ranger. I got just about all the wiring figured out, I only got about 6-7 wires left to run at the c115 connector.
my problem started when I went to crank the truck up for the first/second time. The first time ran for about 30 seconds then I shut the motor off, tired to start it again to find the fuel pump fuse blown.
The second time it was running for about 2 minutes, then the motor decided it didn’t want to idle, which I figured the computer needed to learn idle again. Well it stalled and won’t start back up. Got fuel pressure, no spark. It does however have cranking RPM’s.
Did I get greedy by not having the wiring totally finished when I went to start it?
Does any one know how to check coil packs, the cam sensor? Any help is much appreciated!
