Whats with the monoleaf spring? I have a ranger with them on it and am looking at lowering the truck and noticed that you couldnt do a flip kit because the top of the spring area isnt flat and it looks like the parts are riveted together. Is there any benefit to this type of spring? Does the truck sit any higher or lower than regular springs? I have looked at the different shackle kits but dont think they will lower it enough, so I looked at a flip kit but the top of the spring pad wont work and I am not sure how it is put together. I was wondering if I could remove the fastners holding the parts together and flip it over and rebolt everything?

I never knew there was a monoleaf Ranger. What year, model, and engine is it? Is it still spring over the axle?

I thought the monoleaf springs were only on the electric-powered Ranger EVs from the late 90s.

And weren't they also used on some Explorer Sports or BII'S??
