Hello my name is Eric and I'm new. Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong spot. I have a 1999 Ford Ranger 2wd 4cyl. Thats going crazy. I have been trying to sell it, and yesterday a guy wanted to buy it and when I walked up to unlock it I could hear a clicking sound. When I got in It was dinging, when i tried to start it nothing no cranking no anything, but all the lights come on, and the clock flashes. If I leave the key in the on position it stops dinging, but the clock blinks, and the anitheft light blinks really fast three times. A sequence of pause 123 pause 123 it does this whether the key is on or off. I popped the hood and the clicking is coming fron the fuse box under the hood next to the battery. I disconnected the battery and it stopped, but started again when I reconnected it. When I shut the door on it this morning(getting inside) the dashlights, the clock, and the hazard lights started blinking the keys wasn't even in it. Does anyone have a clue?
