i have a manual transmition and when i put my foot down, there is a rattleing sound. my dad said that thats normal on cars with stick's, but i'm wondering if there is a way to stop this from happening. he also said that it was casued by heat risers or somthing. not sure really. any input is appreciated

thanks,

U-Joints

Crawl under your truck and check to see if there is any play.

They should be solid. If you can move'em replace'em.

Use hardend steel ones. Do not go cheep. It about 20 buks for the good ones

On mine I noticed a rattle sound, it was more like when you stick a card in the wheel of a bike tire sound. It turned out a cable came loose under the truck, & the driveshaft was hitting it. I tied the wire up, & the sound went away.

hrmmm. i dont think those are the problems =/ but i'm not really sure. it only does it when i really put my foot down.

my truck isnt here right now, but i'll check when i get it back. (hopefully tonight)
