rattling/higher octane gas???

well lately my truck as been making what seems like a rattling noise under the hood, at first i thought it was the intake but now some one told me that the vavles rattle, so he told me to use a higher octane gas, which i was using 87, and so i put 89 in there and theres still a rattle but not as loud, Also it only does it when i hit the gas , anything???????

clean the maf and reset the computer also try some seafoam

The early 4.0's were bad about wearing out Rocker arms tips and pushrods. Does it do it at idle and more so on start up? If so check with Delta Cams about a set of their remanufactored rockers with hardened tips and new pushrods...
