Its seems as if when the pads are cold they feel like they are grinding when i approaching a complete stop, As soon as they warm up they are fine??? anyone else have that?

Oh yeah they have about 500 miles on them

I just had the Raybestos QS pads installed in the fronts only (regular in rear) and have about 200 miles on them.
They are quiet so far and have no problems.
The shop that installed them charged me 29.95 extra for a disc brake kit. I don't know what the kit contains, perhaps some shims that may be required for proper installation. I also had new rotors installed.
Did you do the brake job yourself? If not bring it back to who did the job and have them inspect and correct.
Sorry I couldn't offer more help

i think you got robbed on the $30 disc brake kit , i did bring it to a place and they installed it like regular pads.... the best thisg about this is there is virtually NO brake dust...but anyway hopefully someone else will have an answer

If you brought it to a shop why not just bring it back
and have them fix what you paid them to do. Obviously there is something wrong if they are making noise.
Yeah I agree with you the shop probably screwed me by charging the 29.95 for the brake kit. I'm sure he bought one and installed the parts but probably for 15.00 bucks. Did the shop turn the rotors?, Maybe in the process something happened with the wheel bearings which may be causing the noise.
When the vehicle warms up and the parts expand, stopping the noise. Best of luck in getting her fixed.

no problems here...

I put on a set of them last year on the front. I also replaced the calipers and had the rotors turned. I have not had one problem with them yet. It has been about 10,000 miles or more since I put them on. I have towed our trailer this summer and the brakes work great. Have the place that put them on check it out. And make sure they turned the rotors.
