Hello all, this is my first post. I've been reading this board for a while and you guys seem to know what your doing.
I'm a veteran Jeeper who is converting to a Navajo/Explorer. I have a '93 Explorer which I'm looking to tool up. I'm wanting to do a 3" to 4" suspension lift, replace the center console with somthing I can mount a CB/HAM in. And am looking to get some great shocks.
These are the initial upgrades I have planed. I was looking at the RS9000 shock system w/ in-cab controls from Rancho (Popular among us Jeepers) and was wondering if any of you guys have it/have used it and what do you think. I want to do the shocks/suspension at the same time becuase I can trade out the RS5000's that come with the Rancho Lift with the RS9000's for like $15 bucks more per shock.
Any of you guys from St. Louis? I'm looking for some guys/gals to go 4Wheelin with. My budy who used to Jeep with me got promoted and moved to Kansas.
Lastly, have you or are you guys planning on going to the KING of off-road area's, Ouray,CO? I'm wondering how my Sport will fare on Black Bear pass, I never did complet Pokuspi(sp) Gulch, GD shale was flyin everywhere.
Thanks in Advance,
Justin "Skipp" Hoyer
