how possible would it be (granted im sure there would be some custom work) to put a 95+ dash in my 94 X?

Reasons I want to change:
- the 85mph speedo is annoying as all sin...
- I want those indiglo dash guages..

Think it can be done, granted I pay someone to do some custom work???

anything's possible. it's not that far fetched. a good car audio shop could easily do that. they do custom dashes fiberglass, and carbon fiber all the time. it might need a little trimming, but it'll work. and (like i saw another person do in their explorer) since you dont have a passenger airbag now, you can take it out and install something else there behind the cover (like a cd changer, dvd player, playstation, eq, anything...

Could this be taken even further with late model door panels and seats as well? I've thought about it, but I couldn't figure how much effort it would be... Now that you mention that extra space from the airbag, that would be a great place to store smaller trail accesories. What about the shifter though? Don't the '95-up have a PRND21 instead of 91-94's PRNOD21? I'm thinking about an engine swap, so I might go to a AOD-E to allow for that...
