What is the difference in Suspension and Body lifts? Also, im doing coil spacers, aal, and shackles with new shocks, what kind of lift is that?

The lift you are doing is a suspension lift. A body lift is just bigger spacers between the body and frame.

The difference is a suspension lift uses the suspension components to give you more height where as the body lift uses more space between body and frame to give you height.

which one gives you the more "aggressive" lifted look? im waittong on my aal and shocks to get here so i can throw em all on with the 31s

You can go higher with the suspension lift or combination of suspension and body lift. The body lift creates a noticeable gap between frame and body when veiwing the vehicle from the side. Some say to stay away from body lifts some have had no problem with them. It all depends on what you want to accomplish with your lift. If you just want look I would say do suspension and body to save cost. If you are looking to do serious off roading I would say spend the extra money on a good quality suspension lift.

if you have side skirts on your vehicle (plastic things under the doors that kinda look like a step) then you cant really tell youve got a body lift. 90% of the general population dosent know what a body lift looks like anyway.. it takes a gearhead to pick one out.
its also WAY cheaper than a suspension lift. again, to most (the same 90%) the final product looks the same.

my suspension lift, SO FAR, hasnt been to bad 90 for Warrior Shackles, 53 for aal and ext bolt (do i need longer u bolts?), 64 for spacers up front, and 167 for nitrogen shocks. so.. 374 + 125 to install everything but the shackles (i installed those) so 499 to have it lifted, ****, nevermind that is kind of expensive!! good thing i already bought the parts, or seeing that price i might have backed out, lol

...Don't forget the price of the camber bushings and alignment...;)

...Most all of your questions are answered in the "How to" in my signature...:biggthump

...If you don't have the camber bushings the alignment shop will charge you $40 each pus labor to install them...:(

...Thats why most of the guys buy and install their bushings while doing the lift then drive over and get it aligned...It is also worth paying for the lifetime alignment...You then will have your lifted truck the way you want it and won't have to keep paying the big price for alignments...;)

sounds like a 3" bodylift is for you...
