rear brake caliper???

Remove the 2 bolts on the backside of the caliper and use a screw driver or something in case the caliper is stuck and pry it off the rotor by placing it under the caliper between the rotor & it and then simply pull or push to get it out.
 






says he has already removed the caliper.....



my bet.... turn off your parking brake... the rear rotors on a 96 use an internal drum brake assembly for the parking brake... if the parking brake is engaged, the rotors wont budge
 






They pivot upward I believe. One end is hooked into the bracket. Pull those two bolts out completely, they will also cause interference.

Before you remove the calipers, use the screwdriver to force the piston back in all of the way. Skip the C-clamp, a screwdriver is much much much faster. Good luck,
 






push the fluid out of the bleeder screw. never push dirt fluid back where it came from.
