My Passenger rear pads keep sticking, my rotor turned red molten hot till I stopped,
Now this happened last week, I took off the caliper lubed all the pins and it was fine for a week till now, and only when I'm exiting a highway does it start locking up.

I bled the lines put new pads, fluid comes out when I bleed them so its not a line issue
Also not a abs issue cus I disconnected that,

Thinking my calipers shot.

Any advice would be great !

Easy fix. Replace both rear calipers.

Why replace both when only the 1 side is sticking, picked up a Rabeysto for 70$ all in. Napa wanted 130$

Are they the same age/mileage? If so, don't you think if one is worn out the other one is about in the same condition? If I were you I'd replace all 4 calipers and I'd used remans for about 1/2 the cost of new ones. It's not like a new one buys you anything.

OP should also check or replace the rotors. If things got red hot as he says, they might be warped.

I was in a situation like this a couple of years ago. My dad just glanced at my left rotor and said "your caliper is sticking." I pretty much ignored it for 2-3 years because the rotors looked fine. Then I was walking out to the car one day and the sun glinted off the rotor--dang thing was gouged to hell. When I pulled the brake pad off, the outboard side was worn down to nothing, and the inboard side was hardly worn.

So instead of replacing 2x caliper, I had to replace 2x caliper + 2x rotor.

Probably just the hose. They fail internally and don't allow the fluid to return to the reservoir. I've changed more than I care to count on older vehicles through the years for this same problem (there's a hose to each caliper in the rear).

I live near you, calipers aren't that expensive if you know where to go..

Should've waited and I could've gotten you some for cheap. A good brand too..

$60 for a powder coated one. $55 for a non-powder coated one.

I'm in Vaughan were do you get them from?

Wich location I may stop bye,

I have some brake pedal vibration, could this be causing it, and why?

I would be thinking warped rotor(s) or stuck caliper slide pins if you're getting vibration when you brake.

It's not releasing and the rotor may have warped. That would cause vibration. It might be prudent at this stage to replace the caliper, hose, rotor and pads...both sides.

I live in Canada, no autozone here

I am going to throw in another thing to look for.

I had the driver side rear brake wear prematurely, and thought it was a hung caliper but it did it again. By the time I noticed it had gone thru the pad and worn the rotor, again.

I put the rear up in the air and discovered I had a bent axle shaft

Note the side to side movement of the caliper. No, it was not from a bent rotor.
