Having a problem with rear control arm rubbing rim. 2002 Stock Eddie Bauer, V8 4x4, Stock 16" rims, OEM replacement control arm. I had to replace the control arm because it got bent somehow. (Grandkids drove it for a couple of years.) I noticed a slight rubbing sound after having both sides replaced. Eventually tracked the rubbing to the passenger rear wheel. After an allignment the rubbing was worse. With 7 passengers it was even worse. Suggestions please.

Can you take a photo of the case?

You should check knuckle ,strut, and control arm bearings

Sounds like more than one thing was bent when they hit whatever they hit. I’d find a better alignment shop.

Upper or lower?
You should confirm upper ball joint stud is fully inserted. Those holes can in some cases be so filled with rust and detritus a good cleaning is necessary.
Also check the upper ball joint for a grease fitting...in some models 16" rims won't accommodate a grease fitting, but 17" will. There isn't enough clearance, and the zerk can rub.

There is no balljoints in the rear...

You right

I am confused with 4Gen rear suspension
